Apply for 2017 Youth Camp - 3 Easy Steps

 

Campers may enroll on the following instruments: trumpet, trombone, clarinet, saxophone, guitar, banjo, string bass, tuba, piano, washboard, drums, vocals

 

Skills needed to enjoy camp are basic proficiency on your instrument and knowledge of scales.  

Please contact us if you require further clarification on what to expect musically.

1. Click HERE for the application. You may fill out and submit online or print out, complete and send to: NY Hot Jazz Camp, LLC

2. Send an audio and/or video sample of you playing to info@nyhotjazzcamp.com. This can be an mp3, mp4, or an internet link.  We want to get acquainted with you and your playing, so include what you are most comfortable on. This could be your favorite song or groove (jazz or otherwise), an improvised solo, a chord progression and/or scales, with or without a band.

 

3. Please allow up to three weeks for your submitted materials to be processed and reviewed. During that time you will receive an email confirmation letting you know we have everything we need and further instructions.

 

 

*Camp tuition is $600 USD. This includes your on-site and pre-ordered catered lunches for the week. Tuition also includes any transportation for group-scheduled field trips, as well as your admission to Friday night's camper and faculty concert.
